I must admit, I'm a little freaked out by the warm weather this early. I hope it's not a harbinger of things to come! I always ride with full gear and it gets a little toasty when it's 95 outside! Oh well, gotta pay to play! Who knows? I may even sweat off some of the wings and fries I've been known o consume! lol
I rarely remove my headphones on Twofer Tuesday. True, we can crank up the speakers in the Rock Penthouse, but the headphones take it to a whole different level. Is it normal to have fluid coming out of my ears after a Twofer of Judas Preist? What? Huh?
When was the last time you cranked up your headphones to a really great song? I'm sitting in the Rock Penthouse with the 'phones cranked to AC/DC's Whole Lotta Rosie. I'm gonna play You've Got Another Thing Comin' by Judas Priest soon. That's gotta KICK ASS, too! Give it a try!!
Julian Lennon is 47 today. WTF?!?!?!??!
Over the weekend I heard that tornadoes were down by about 50% so far this spring. I'm okay with that. God sure does come up with interesting ways to scare the crap out of us, ya know?
A big thanks goes to the American Red Cross and all of the WABX rockers who made our event yesterday such a success! This was only the second Rock and Roll Up Your Sleeve event and it went very well, to say the least! Kat, Dodger and I all donated...along with LOTS of you guys! Thank you again, your generosity will help people here in the area...people who need it very badly. You guys ROCK!
I just played I Just Want To Make Love To You by Foghat. How in hell does a band get a name like that? Well, the legend goes like this...one of the early members was playing Scrabble and insisted that Foghat was a word (LOL!). Later, when the band was on its way to a recording session, they decided they needed a name...FOGHAT was brought up. The rest is history!
The Rainbow, Black Sabbath and Dio frontman's health crisis prompted his current band Heaven & Hell to scrap European dates last year (09) and he has been in treatment to combat the disease ever since.
I got my bike tuned at Schnitz Racing last week. Ryan Schnitz is a Pro Street and Real Street rider and a truly badass tuner. He got my Hayabusa to make 322 hp on low boost. I can't say enough about their service and attitude. On top of that, the bike is dead streetable. It rides and drives likes it's totally stock (except when you nail it! lol). If you ever need any cool go-fast motorcycle stuff, they are the people to see! www.schnitzracing.com
In honor of this huge day, here are some Chuck Norris facts:
Chuck Norris counted to infinity...twice.
Chuck Norris does not hunt because the word hunting infers the probability of failure. Chuck Norris goes killing.
Chuck Norris' tears cure cancer. Too bad he has never cried.
If you can see Chuck Norris, he can see you. If you can't see Chuck Norris you may be only seconds away from death.
