A co-worker is celebrating 25 years with the company. Impressive, huh? Even more impressive is the suh-weet cake they served at the celebration! It's typical in the respect that the cake is moist and the icing is brightly colored and tasty. The cool part is the motif. The top is covered with balloons made of pure icing. I've had three of them and I'm feeling more like Cornholio with each passing moment. Don't freak though, I'm having a Diet Dr. Pepper with it. It's all about being healthy!
At first I scoffed. A guy made a post saying that the Babe of The Day was a he. He swore that upon closer inspection it was obvious to even an untrained eye. I must admit, my eyes are untrained in such matters. She looks pretty womanly to me. Then again, I've never taken a really close look at a dude's nether regions (pretty proud of that).
Although his "I Have a Dream" speech gets the most recognition, Google "Letter from Birmingham Jail" by Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. It's a glimpse into what was reality in America in the 1960s. Do yourself a favor, read and ponder some of his words. He has been an inspiration to me on many occasions, and I'm sure you'll find inspiration and wisdom through him. This Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. day, look within yourself and figure out how you can keep The Dream alive. Find a way to make this world better than how you found it.
I won't be on the air until after Christmas, so Merry Christmas to you all! If you celebrate something else at this time of year, I hope you are able to do so with your family and friends. Talk to you soon!
As I twisted my fork in the last of my shrimp and salmon pasta, I overheard a woman at another table. "Look, it's snowing!" I got up and walked toward the door. Sure enough, the snow was already covering the cars in the lot. I love it when that happens. I'm not a fan of snow storms or dangerous driving, but I sure do like to see the flakes falling for the first time in a long time. Pretty much everything I enjoy doing requires warm weather or dry roads, but the winter weather is a respite of sorts, a breather if you will.
I'm extremely fortunate to have been born with the ability to BS instead of a strong back.
The purple mohawk is fading. That sucks. Time to go back to Rogers and get it re-badassed. I always enjoy the casual glances followed by shock and awe. Mohawks rule on soooo many levels. lol
