If you or someone you know has pre-paid funeral expenses at Alexanders Funeral Home in the last four years, you might want to check with your funeral director.
Vanderburgh County Sheriff Dave Wedding says those who paid in advance to a specific person may be the victim of theft and fraud.
She was first arrested September 11, accused of stealing money for the funeral of three-year-old Oliver Dill, who died after being accidentally left in a hot car on the USI campus.
Since her initial arrest, detectives have discovered three other victims, and eight instances of theft and fraud against them.
Deputies are afraid there may be other victims.
The total “take” from the Dill family and the other victims comes close to $40,000/
