You may have noticed some work being done on a corner of the Washington Square Mall parking lot.
Deaconess Hospital has purchased 1.7 acres of the lot for one of two new clinics.
They’re being built to serve the medical needs of patents near where they live and work.
The second clinic is going uop at U-S 41 and Baseline Road, and are expected to open next summer.
Other sales of Washington Square Mall property have not been ruled out.
