A police department in Georgia is having fun taunting a suspect.
The Cherokee County Sheriff’s Office tried to make a traffic stop on a vehicle Monday, but the driver abandoned the vehicle and fled on foot. Officers investigated the car and found a winning scratch-off lottery ticket.
It was worth $100, so they posted to social media saying “To the suspect who ran on foot from our deputies on a traffic stop this morning on I-75, you left a winning $100 lottery ticket in your vehicle. You can claim your ticket at 498 Chattin Dr. in Canton. It will be here waiting for you. Congratulations by the way.”
