Henderson and Union Counties are now listed in the “red” level on Kentucky’s coronavirus dashboard.
The “red” designation indicates a critical level of infection in that county.
The Green River District Health Department says Henderson County has registered 25 new cases of the virus since Saturday.
Although he was not speaking specifically about Henderson, Governor Andy Beshear said yesterday that schools in red counties should use virtual learning exclusively.
Students in Henderson County are combining virtual learning with in-person classes.
