Evansville Parks and Recreation Director Brian Holtz says work on the new Deaconess Aquatic Center is coming along nicely.
The facility is located in Garvin Park.
It will house a recreational pool, a splash pad and a competitive pool, with seating for approximately 900.
City officials expect the center will be ready to open in July of next year.
