Lieutenant Governor Suzanne Crouch says 1.2 million Hoosiers have taken at least the first of two shots in the COVID-19 vaccine.
That includes herself.
Crouch, an Evansville native, Says hat puts Indiana in the top three among all the states in per capita vaccinations of its citizens.
She says the state can always use more doses, especially since 60-year-olds are being added to the eligibility list.
Crouch says she got her first shot at the Deaconess clinic in Evansville a week ago and felt no discomfort at all, telling WIKY News “I didn’t even have a sore arm.”
She is scheduled to receive her second shot next week, also in Evansville./
