What could go wrong? I don’t dare mention the “H” word.

Apparently airships, blimps, zeppelins…are making a comeback.
Bruce Dickinson of Iron Maiden is close to getting the our friends across the pond to partner in blimp hybrid aviation startup. Of course, Bruce knows a few things about flying and has worked as a commercial pilot, even captaining the Iron Maiden tour plane.
Of course, it didn’t go so well back in 2016 when the Airlander 10 crashed. At least nobody was hurt.
So, perhaps the skies above Britain will have airships up in the air in the future. (What’s old is new again?)
But the United Kingdom isn’t the only country considering bringing back this mode of travel. Domestically, our neighbors in Akron are getting closer to building airships.
Only time will tell if blimp travel becomes mainstream. In the meantime, we have some Iron Maiden lined up, along with some other great artists for the 107.5 WABX “80’s at 8” tonight!
