A new coffee shop opens at 7:00 this morning at Washington Square Mall.
Mission Grounds will have a full service coffee menu, along with freshly made bundt muffins.
It’s in the hands of the Evansville Rescue Mission and is adjacent to their thrift store.
Seating is available inside or outside on the patio from 7:00am to 4:00pm Monday through Saturday.
Officials say the proceeds from sales are locally used by the Evansville Rescue Mission to provide food, shelter and programs to homeless and the less fortunate.
