One of the six people arrested in Saturday night’s drug bust was Lamasco Bar & Grill owner and EVSC board member, Amy Word.
She released a statement on the bar’s Facebook page on Monday.
She pointed out the search of Lamasco Bar did not yield drugs, money or firearms.
Word says the officer that pulled her over noticed the plate on her jeep was expired, and no illegal drugs were found in the vehicle, except those found on Mr. Clark’s person.
EVSC School Board President Chris Kiefer has asked Word to resign.
She is due in court on Wednesday.
