Two years probation was the sentence given to a Princeton man who threatened Mayor Lloyd Winnecke last year.
David Hippensteel mailed several hand written letters and emails to the mayor.
He demanded that he direct Police Chief Billy Bolin to investigate a 2016 case involving the Indiana State Police.
One letter stated the mayor has no spine and he was coming to the Mayor’s office to slap him.
Hippensteel must complete mental health counseling and he was ordered to have no contact with the mayor.
An escort must be with him to and from probation appointments.
