Classes at the University of Southern Indiana were canceled Monday evening due to a power outage.
Employees were sent home at 3 p.m.
Students with finals scheduled for the 4 p.m. and 6 p.m. Monday night classes will have to to make those up.
CenterPoint confirmed that a fallen tree caused the outage.
The area was cleared and power was up and running within a couple of hours.
