Trash collection in the City of Henderson will be operating on a different schedule the week of the Memorial Day holiday. City employees will be observing the holiday on Monday, May 29, 2023.
The residential trash collection schedule for the week of the holiday is:
Monday, May 29th: No trash pickup. Landfill closed.
Tuesday, May 30th: Regular Monday routes and the portion of Tuesday routes North of Twelfth Street
will be collected.
Wednesday, May 31st: The remained of Tuesday routes and Wednesday routes will be collected.
Thursday, June 1st
Friday, June 2nd: Normal trash pickup.
Recycling pickup in the City of Henderson is the week of Monday, May 29th. It will be delayed by one day for that week only. Changes in the normal trash collection schedule are also posted on the City of Henderson web site, hendersonky.gov. They are also posted on the City’s social media accounts.
