Democrat Stephanie Terry will be Evansville’s next mayor. A historical election regardless of the outcome, Stephanie Terry will be the first female and the first black mayor of Evansville. In her victory speech, Terry thanked the city of Evansville for giving her the opportunity to serve and called on people of other political parties to put their differences aside and work together to move Evansville forward.
