The West Side Nut Club proudly claims the title of hosting the BEST Fall Festival in the nation—and this year, we’re celebrating more than just our incredible rides and delicious nonprofit food booths! After 103 years of fun along West Franklin Street, the festival has reached new heights, thanks to the addition of the Nut Club Half Pot in 2019.
With a jaw-dropping total of $9,598,180 raised over the past six years, we are thrilled to announce that for the first time ever, the 2024 Half Pot has eclipsed $2 million, bringing home a record-breaking total of $2,000,070! This incredible milestone underscores our commitment to giving back to the community.
Despite some skeptics on social media questioning the legitimacy of our half pot, we want to remind everyone that the Indiana Gaming Authority has thoroughly vetted our operations. We recently held our Founder’s Day event, where we hand-delivered $800,000 in checks to Tri-State schools and nonprofit organizations, proving our dedication to making a difference.
“Remember the game, six degrees to Kevin Bacon? As the WSNC Publicity Chair, I challenge everyone in the greater Evansville area to play ‘1 degree to WSNC Half Pot.’ In one way or another, the proceeds from the half pot and our Fall Festival have benefited you, your children, your family, and/or your community,” said WSNC Publicity Chair Brandon McClish. “If you have questions about our legitimacy, contact Indiana Gaming Commission and please reach out directly—we’d be thrilled to share our running totals of over $9 million donated back to our community!”
This year, we also have exciting news! The 2024 winner of the West Side Nut Club Half Pot, Al Lindsey, has chosen to come forward and accept his winnings of $1,000,035! Congratulations, Al, and thank you to everyone who participated and made this festival a massive success!
Join us next year, October 6th-11th 2025, for more fun, food, and giving because, as we like to say, “From Small Acorns, Large Oaks Grow!”
