Morganfield police posted a Facebook video warning residents of underground gas leaks.
Officials found a leaking gas line.
Police were in the 200 block of West Geiger Street where they detected a strong odor of gas in the area.
The Morganfield Fire Department was dispatched along with their explosive gas detection equipment.
They were able to find the gas line leaking gas up through the ground.
The leak has been repaired.
