The Henderson County boys’ basketball team is heading to Rupp Arena to play in the Kentucky Sweet 16 Tournament.
Tuesday night the Colonels beat Madisonville-North Hopkins 52-34.
The last time the Colonels made a state tournament appearance was 26 years ago.
Henderson will face Cooper on Thursday night, March 27, in Lexington.
Daviess County also made it to the championship game and will play Great Crossing.
