Marilyn Monroe’s home was marked as a historical cultural monument in the city of Los Angeles. However it is still in danger of being demolished. The owner Brinah Banks has filed another case seeking to strip the home of the historical cultural monument status and asking the city for a permit to demolish the 1929 home to dust to create a garden and expand their own home. The 37 page filing asks for a jury trial and for the city to reimburse them 8.3 million dollars in damages. Upon reading the filing the case appears to be a re run of previous cases that have gone before the city of Los Angeles. This filing claims the home has been burglarized in November 2025 by momento seekers and has brought MORE people to the famous address as the 100th Birthday of actress Marilyn Monroe approaches. This is a story to watch in the months to come.
