A fight over yardwork led to the arrest of an Evansville man.
The victim told police that his neighbor, Branden Staub, ran into his yard, pushed him over, and dragged him over to his property.
The victim says that Staub began choking him while he was on the ground.
Staub told officers that he didn’t do anything and that the neighbor had been harassing him.
He says that he has had to call for welfare checks on his neighbor because he believes he has dementia.
Staub was booked on charges of strangulation and battery resulting in moderate bodily injury.
