Owensboro is expanding its 4th of July celebration this year.
The celebration will be a two-night affair.
The city says the expansion is to honor America’s 250th anniversary and will include a special drone show on Friday, July 3.
Friday After 5 will be included in the celebration, along with other planned events, including the fireworks show on the riverfront on the fourth.
