It was a HOT one in Louisville for the annual Louder Than Life music festival at the Highland Festival Grounds, but it didn’t stop massive crowds from attending each day. Congratulations to the WABX winners for both full festival passes and single day passes! This was my 6th year being a “Loudmouth” and attending the festival. The vibe is always amazing, and I love how 80,000 to 100,000 people can just get along and rock out with each other, especially this year in the crazy heat!
Thursday metal legends Iron Maiden were the headliners with front man Bruce Dickenson starting the set by proclaiming “I’ve waited 50 f***ing years for this!”
Friday’s headliner was My Chemical Romance, who brought ALL the energy!
Saturday had amazing performance after amazing performance. BABYMETAL brought the house down, Sublime brought all the vibes, and Limp Bizket tore it up!
And finally Sunday wrapped up the festival in the heat with Tool closing out the festival perfectly with an amazing performance!
