EPD has arrested someone after more than a dozen Flock cameras were destroyed or stolen.
18-year-old Charles Hughes was seen riding an e-scooter Monday morning on Governor Street without a headlight.
He was wearing a mask and had two bags.
When officers conducted a traffic stop, they saw a collapsible ladder on the scooter and a large solar panel with a “Flock” sticker on it.
His backpack contained batteries, junction boxes, cameras, wires, a Sawzall, and a screw gun.
The replacement cost of a Flock camera is $4,800.
