An Evansville man is facing charges after an incident in Posey County.
Deputies were dispatched to Caborn Road Sunday morning for a welfare check.
The complainant stated that his ex-girlfriend might be in a violent situation.
The victim told deputies that Seth Lile had forced his way inside her home and physically assaulted her.
He was angry about a protective order against him.
Lile was later spotted walking in a field and arrested.
His charges include robbery, domestic battery, and criminal mischief.
