A couple in Canada knows where they’ll be spending Valentine’s Day for nearly the next two decades, all thanks to them getting frisky on a holiday. At the beginning of the year, Hotel Zed, a chain in Canada, ran a promo event offering a couple a free stay at any of their locations on Valentine’s Day every year for 18 years.
The “Nooner Baby Maker” event invited couples to come spend four hours at the hotel on Valentine’s Day and those who welcomed a baby approximately nine months later would win free stays on February 14th until 2038. Nicole and Alexander Beshinsky went for it and she got pregnant, making them the lucky winners.
They’re expecting their second child any day now and Hotel Zed is rewarding them for procreating. In addition to the freebie Valentine’s Day room, the couple was also treated to a family maternity photoshoot to celebrate the pregnancy – something Nicole hadn’t been able to do before “because of the chaos of 2020.” Mandy Farmer, Hotel Zed’s president and CEO says they’re thrilled for the parents and they “look forward to hosting them for the next 18 years!”
