An Evansville man charged in a double murder and robbery was in court today.
A jury found Deshay Hackner guilty as charged for the murders of Dewone Broomfield and Mary Woodruff in October 2017, as well as two counts of robbery. Following the guilty verdict, Hackner admitted to a habitual offender and two separate firearm enhancements.
He was sentenced to 157 years in prison.
