Evansville police officers respond to a shots-fired call in the 100 block of Adams Avenue Saturday Afternoon.
Witnesses saw a shirtless man pointing a gun at another person.
Records show that 25 year old Devin Russell-Pope came out of a house at that address and was taken into custody.
Officers say Russell-Pope’s brother had gone to the Adams Street address to pay back $32 but Russell Pope approached his brother talking about blowing his head off, and firing a few rounds.
The brother got back in his truck and left.
Inside the Adams Street house, officers found the gun, a couple more weapons and a pound of pot divided into bags, along with paraphernalia.
Russell-Pope was jailed without bond.
