The Lawndale Supper Club will host a fundraising benefit for community theatres at Evansville’s east side Lawndale Shopping Plaza on Saturdays and Sundays from April 17 -May 9th.
The Lawndale Plaza is located at 720 S Green River Road in Evansville.
Their fundraising mission is to help four local community theaters that suffered losses due to the Covid-19 pandemic. As a result of the pandemic, the show has not been able to go on, yet these theaters still have bills to pay.
Each weekend will focus on a different theater in their fundraising efforts and will offer a variety of food trucks and local entertainment. Not only will the food trucks donate a portion of their sales, there will also be donation buckets for customers who may not realize the impact on local theatres or how the role of performing arts adds to the education and enrichment to our community.
The four theatres are Evansville Civic Theatre, STAGEtwo Productions, Children’s Theatre of Southern Indiana and Newburgh Community Theater.
The Lawndale Supper Club would like to thank the following sponsors that helped them with this endeavor; Popham Construction, Dilegge’s Restaurant & Banquet Room, Salon Partners, Centerline Construction, Regent Promotions and sound provided by Eric Jones. The Lawndale Supper Club currently consists of the following food truck vendors:
Jayson Munoz Caters
