If you’re a roller coast fan, you’ll want to head for Jackson, New Jersey.
That’s where a brand new coaster was unveiled that’s claimed to be the “world’s tallest, fastest, and longest single rail coaster.” Six Flags Great Adventure in New Jersey opened the Jersey Devil roller coaster to the public on Sunday.
It’s 13 stories high and the track stretches over three-thousand feet. Riders will travel at speeds up to 58 miles per hour and face a steep 87-degree first drop. Thrill seekers will also enjoy three different inversions, including a zero-gravity roll.
The coaster is named after a beast, in folklore, that roams and terrorizes the New Jersey Pine Barrens.
