Tropicana Evansville is re-branding starting today.
New signage that will be going up identifies the casino and entertainment center as Bally’s Evansville.
The new name reflects the fourth and latest owner of the Evansville complex.
The casino began life in the 1990s as Aztar,
Indiana’s first riverboat gambling mecca before becoming Tropicana in 2013.
The property kept that moniker when El Dorado bought it in 2018.
Two years later, in October of 2020, Twin Rivers bought it and is now taking over operations.
