Some possible items that could be donated include: baby supplies (diapers/formula), bottled water, cleaning supplies, personal cleaning supplies, feminine hygiene products, mops, buckets, trash bags, flashlights and batteries, easy to eat nonperishable food and snacks, work gloves, duct tape, ponchos, rakes, shovels, brooms, hand sanitizer, dust masks, pet food.
If you prefer to donate cash, visit redcross.org, call 800-RED-CROSS, or text the word REDCROSS to 90999 to make a $10 donation. You can also make a tax-deductible donations HERE for the for the Team Western Kentucky Tornado Relief Fund set up by Governor Beshear.

- Goodwill is collecting nonperishable food, water, blankets, pillows, toiletry items, diapers (baby and adult), OTC medications, new socks and undergarments, work gloves, work boots, flashlights, batteries, duct tape, and headlamps on TUESDAY AND WEDNESDAY from 930am-5pm at 8399 Bell Oaks Drive in Newburgh and 3241 Kidron Valley Way in Owensboro.

The West Side Nut Club will be collecting on Saturday Dec. 18th, from 12pm-6pm, at 10th and Franklin Ave. (ACORN PLAZA), the Nut Club will be doing another donation drive for those affected by the tornados in Kentucky. A semi-trailer, complete with truck and driver, has been donated, along with the trailers we used last week. If you would like to donate cash or checks (made payable to the West Side Nut Club, Inc) they can be collected there as well, and all monies collected will be used to buy supplies we have been told are needed. - The Evansville Otters are now accepting tornado relief donations at Bosse Field to help aid relief efforts in the Midwest and western Kentucky. People who want to contribute items needed by families and first responders can bring them to Bosse Field between 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. on Monday through Friday.Bosse Field is located at 23 Don Mattingly Way in Evansville, Ind. near the Main Street entrance to Garvin Park. Items needed include non-perishable foods, bottled water, warm clothing, rakes, shovels, brooms, duct tape, baby supplies, pet supplies, candles, matches, rain ponchos, and many other items. - ETFCU pledges $25,000 match for tornado relief
Evansville Teachers Federal Credit Union will match $25,000 in donations for tornado relief efforts in Western Kentucky.
The credit union is accepting contributions at its offices in Evansville, Fort Branch, Mount Vernon,Newburgh, Princeton, Vincennes and Washington in Indiana, as well as Henderson and Owensboro in Kentucky.
Funds raised will aid efforts by the American Red Cross to help families in need following the deadly weekend storm.
Mt. Vernon, IN.
- Industrial Transport Services has a 53’ trailer at McKim’s IGA in Mount Vernon. Open from 3:30pm-7pm everyday this week to accept donations to help families affected by the tornadoes.
- Sabic Plastics in Mt. Vernon is taking donations up until Friday to deliver to Mayfield. Bring to Sabic Visitors Center or call 812-831-7726
- Truckers Helping Hands is loading a trailer to take supplies, cloths, food, cleaning supplies, personal hygiene items to to families that were affected by the tornadoes. Donations can be taken to Tri-State Towing 1705 South Green St in Henderson, Happy Trails 871 Hwy 2084 South, City of Corydon city building 130 Main Street Corydon. - The Henderson Fire Department will take donations all this week at the National Guard Armory at 735 North Elm from 4pm-8pm.
Owensboro, KY
- Green River Distilling in Owensboro is collecting nonperishable food (snacks like cookies/crackers) baby supplies, sanitizer, trash bags, and gloves.
- American Medical Response of Owensboro are collecting items today (MONDAY) from 8am-3pm at 1101 Alsop Lane.

- Oh Sew Sweet Boutique in Madisonville is accepting clothes, blankets, car seats, diapers, wipes, formula at 210 East Arch Street, Madisonville, KY

- Perry County Sheriff’s Office is accepting Donations in Tell City
Cricket Wireless
- Cricket Wireless is accepting clothes, blankets, toys, etc at any local Cricket Wireless offices in Western Kentucky.
Helping Pets
- It Takes a Village has been in contact with Hopkins County who we help often and were scheduled to take in dogs from them tomorrow but ASPCA has stepped up to take all of their animals that are able to leave the shelter. They have put us in contact with Muhlenberg County as they are needing to move out their long timers to make room for the displaced animals coming in. If you are able to help by fostering any of these dogs or any in our rescue center – please complete a foster application at itvrescue.org or stop by the rescue tomorrow.We will also be accepting donations to send to Kentucky shelters.Dog food, cat food, cat litter, leashes, collars, blankets and crates.
- Vanderburgh Humane Society is SEEKING SHORT-TERM DOG FOSTERS and DOG SUPPLIES to assist KY storm relief effort:
Hopkins County Humane Society is quickly filling with animals displaced by Friday’s storm. They have reached out to us for help making space for incoming strays, and we will be accepting several dogs. We need short-term dog fosters to make this relief effort possible!This well be a 2-3 week commitment.
