

With the recent tornados effecting so many in our area, here are some resources to help with the relief effort.
Team Western Kentucky Tornado Relief Fund
Governor Andy Beshear has established the Team Western Kentucky Tornado Relief Fund to assist those impacted by the tornados and the severe weather system on December 11, 2021. To donate to the Relief Fund, click here:
Donations
The Henderson Fire Department will take donations all this week at the National Guard Armory at 735 North Elm from 4pm-8pm.
FEMA Disaster Assistance
Residents of Caldwell, Fulton, Graves, Hopkins, Marshall, Muhlenberg, Taylor and Warren counties in Kentucky who were affected by severe storms and tornadoes may apply for FEMA disaster assistance. Residents in the designated counties can apply online at disasterassistance.gov, by calling 800-621-3362, or by using the FEMA mobile app.
Kentucky Red Cross Shelter
If you know anyone displaced due to the tornados, text: shelter to 82474 for the Kentucky Red Cross Shelter link.
Red Cross Relief Efforts
Local Red Cross units are already on the ground in Kentucky and many of effected areas of destruction.
At this time, the Red Cross encourages any who are able to make an appointment to give blood.

According to Red Cross officials, financial donations are the quickest and best way to get help to those who need it most, which give people the flexibility to purchase what they need.
To make a monetary donation to the Red Cross, you can do so by texting the word REDCROSS to 90999 to make a $10 gift.
For those interested in helping people specifically affected by the recent tornadoes, please write “Southern and Midwest Tornadoes” in the memo line of a check and mail it the SW Chapter at 29 S Stockwell Road, Evansville, IN 47714.

Pricing Gouging Hotline
Kentucky Attorney General Daniel Cameron has also activated a price gouging hotline. Cameron says the hotline to ensure that no Kentuckian becomes a victim of predatory pricing as they buy emergency supplies and rebuilding materials.
Suspected price gouging can be reported by calling 888-432-9257.
