A new feature will be completed in May at Wesselman Woods in Evansville.
The Welborn Baptist Foundation Nature Playscape includes pathways and a bird sanctuary.
An additional two acres have been added for exploration consisting of rocks, water, fallen logs and native plants.
The new construction will utilize felled trees that have been donated from tree service companies.
Officials say one of the new additions will include a red bud tree tunnel.
Once the project is finished, the nature playscape will be one of the largest in the country.
