Around 3:15 this morning several fire departments were called to a house fire at 2254 Maple Lane in Vanderburgh County.
As crews began fighting the fire, it quickly got out of hand, so more departments were called for mutual aid.
This is a three alarm fire as it stands now.
The residents are out of town.
Crews will likely be on scene for awhile.
