The Indiana State Police Department is saddened to announce the passing of K9 Zeus.
He was an 8 year old German Shephard/Belgium Malinois mix born in Hungary.
Zeus was specifically trained in narcotics detection as well as suspect apprehension.
Zeus has a long list of recoveries in his career.
Such as: $540,000 in fraudulent credit cards, 56 illegally possessed firearms, 370 pounds of illegal drugs, $145,000 in seized drug money and the capture of 12 suspects.
On October 14, Zeus was humanely euthanized after battling a sudden illness for several days.
