Coat-A-Kid kicked off yesterday and will run through December.
Don’s Claytons, the Salvation Army and the Evansville Christian Life Center will distribute gently used coats to children and teens across southwest Indiana.
In 2021, over 3,500 coats were collected and this year more is expected.
The biggest need is for children in the first to fifth grades.
Coats can be donated at all Don’s Claytons locations, and for the first time, a donation bin will be available at St. Vincent Hospital.
