Everyone is invited to join the City of Evansville this evening in front of the Downtown Civic Center at 5:00 as we countdown the start of the holiday season.
The Central High School Varsity Choir will perform followed by inspiring words from Mayor Lloyd Winnecke.
Watch the lighting of Evansville’s official Christmas tree.
The 22-foot-tall, 16-foot-wide Norway spruce will illuminate the night sky with over 25-thousand lights.
Instead of a star the letter “E” will light up the top of the tree.
Allison Hamilton has donated trees from her front yard for the last two years.
