Illinois State Police arrested 20 year Demetrius Walker for the murder of a Shawneetown man that happened a month ago.
The arrest comes after an investigation into the death of 45 year old Nathan Dobbs.
Walker was taken into custody by the Mt. Vernon, Illinois Police Department last Friday on an unrelated arrest warrant.
Walker remains in the Jefferson County Jail awaiting extradition.
His bond is set at $5 million dollars.
