There’s been an arrest in the case of a body found in a vacant home on Harriet Street last July.
Detectives with Evansville Police and the Vanderburgh County Coroner’s office determined that Shanay Hunt was murdered, with evidence pointing to her son Jaron Wells.
Detectives developed information that Wells was staying in a country home outside of Carrier Mills Illinois.
He was arrested there and jailed in Saline County Illinois on the strength of the Vanderburgh County warrant.
