Illinois Judge Dies Of Gunshot Wound

Illinois State Police have been called into the investigation of the death of an Edwards County Judge.

41-year-old Judge Michael J. Valentine died of an apparent gunshot.

In a statement, I-S-P said they were asked by the Edwards County Sheriff’s Office to assist in the death probe.

The incident occurred near County Road 600 in Albion, IL.
