Some parents of fourth and fifth graders have been notified that their kids will be changing schools. within the Evansville Vanderburgh School Corporation.
Letters went out to affected families this week.
The move involves students at Highland and Hebron Elementary Schools.
School officials say there is not enough room in those buildings to allow proper social distancing.
So fourth and fifth graders from Highland and Hebron will be moving to the Harwood Career Preparatory Academy building. Meanwhile, Harwood Prep students will be moving to the old North High School building at Diamond and Stringtown.
