Indiana is one of two states to win a designated national drone testing site.
Governor Mike Braun says the site will attract high-paying jobs and serve as a defense technology investment.
The Governor says they are leveraging Indiana’s unique attributes to lead the nation in this important sector, including the state’s manufacturing industry, expertise from NWSC Crane, and restricted airspace over assets such as Camp Atterbury and the Muscatatuck Urban Training Center.
The other state to win a drone site was Oklahoma.
