More than 470 GameStop retailers are closing this month, including 2 locally.
The GameStop website shows that the Evansville Pavilion store and the Newburgh store are closed, while the one in Eastland Mall will remain open.
There were no closures shown in our area for Illinois or Kentucky.
In a filing with the Securities and Exchange Commission last year, the company said that it would close a significant number of additional stores in fiscal 2025, which ends on January 31.
