Statement from the Henderson Police Department:
On 01/21/2026 at approximately 11:50am officers were dispatched to the area of Powell and Julia in reference to shots fired inside a home. Upon officers’ arrival, they learned there was possibly a domestic situation that had occurred and one individual had been shot in the chest. All parties involved were still on scene upon officers’ arrival and they are at the police department to be interviewed. There are no threats to the public at this time.
