Indiana State Police is investigating a shooting involving two Posey County Sheriff’s Deputies.
The incident occurred on State Road 69, north of Copperline Road, around 12:30 on Thursday afternoon.
Law enforcement had received information that the male they were searching for was a passenger in a tractor-trailer.
The officers conducted a high-risk stop, ordering the two men to exit the semi.
‘The passenger got out while pointing a gun at his head.
Both deputies fired their weapons, striking the man at least once, killing him.
No other details have been released at this time.
