A state of emergency has been declared for Gibson County through noon today.
Under the declaration, only emergency travel is permitted.
Residents are asked to stay off the roads to allow city, county, and state crews the space to safely clear roads and respond to emergencies.
The City of Evansville and Vanderburgh County have been declared a State of Emergency through Sunday, February 1.
