A third teen is now being charged as an adult in the Josiah Madrid murder case.
15-year-old Adawn’yea Meriweather made his first court appearance yesterday.
Police say Ahzar Murray, Ronald Coleman, and two other teens allegedly conspired to rob Madrid last November in Evansville.
When he declined and pulled out a gun, he was shot and later died at a hospital.
Court records show Meriweather is being held in an area away from adult inmates.
