Huntingburg’s League Stadium is the new home for the Liberation Professional Baseball League.
The league was supposed to play this summer in California, but COVID restrictions idled the organization’s four teams.
So they mounted a nationwide search for a playable home and chose Huntingburg.
League Stadium, a 3-thousand seat facility, has been idle for some time.
There’s a 250-person limit in the stands right now, which the league is trying to get increased.
