A portion of State Road 237 will be renamed in honor of an officer who was killed in the line of duty.
The resolution was passed unanimously by Indiana Senators on Thursday.
The designated area of road will be called the “Sergeant Heather Glenn Memorial Highway” and will be near Perry County Memorial Hospital.
In July 2023, Sergeant Glenn was at the hospital working on a domestic violence case when she was shot and killed.
Glenn had spent nearly 20 years with the Tell City Police Department.
