One person is in custody after they took off from a traffic stop just after 6:00 Monday night.
Deputies spotted the car a short time later near Tekoppel and Forest Avenue.
EPD brought in a K-9 that led them to a house.
Deputies surrounded the home until the suspect surrendered 45 minutes later.
28-year-old Mark Poenitski is charged with resisting law enforcement, reckless driving and possession of a firearm by a serious violent felon.
